1. Dual structure
Arciin is offered as a free self-hosted core plus optional paid licenses for premium capabilities (for example full AI workflows, multi-user teams, and business controls). Source availability and exact open-source terms for specific repositories are published on GitHub when applicable.
2. Free core
You may install and use the free core on your own hardware without a commercial license key, subject to the project license file shipped with the software and these site terms. Community support is best-effort.
3. Paid licenses (Pro, Team, Business)
A paid license grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to enable premium features for the plan term and server limits you purchased. Keys are bound to your plan; sharing keys outside your organization is not allowed.
- Pro — typically one production server, power-user features.
- Team — multi-user collaboration, up to the server count on your plan.
- Business — custom fleet, SSO, compliance, and support as contracted.
4. What a license is not
A license is not a transfer of ownership of Arciin source or trademarks. It is not hosting, managed infrastructure, or a guarantee of third-party model provider availability. You bring your own API keys and storage.
5. Updates and verification
Paid instances may periodically check a license service to validate the key. Offline grace periods are designed so an unreachable license server does not brick access to your files. Expired licenses return you to free-core capabilities without deleting your data.
6. Contributions and third-party code
Third-party packages keep their own licenses. If you contribute code to our public repositories, you agree we may use your contribution under the project’s stated license.
